About ARISUD
ARISUD, officially known as the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, is a registered international non-profit organization based in Kenya, established in 2009. ARISUD operates as a dynamic platform that brings together a diverse network of scholars and policymakers from across the African continent. It functions as a versatile network, aiming to harness the expertise of accomplished African scholars. ARISUD is dedicated to promoting peer learning and the exchange of best practices in transformative research and impact.
The organization focuses on addressing pressing development challenges, including climate change, healthcare access, education equity, technology and innovation, biodiversity conservation, clean energy, and conflict resolution. ARISUD is deeply committed to fostering resilience within African communities through a gender-transformative approach, as well as promoting the active involvement of youth and ensuring social inclusion in all its initiatives.
